GECAC aims to keep our clients informed about activities related to the Federal Funding Freeze and how it may affect GECAC's services that you and your family rely on. The latest update is that the White House has rescinded a memo that previously froze federal grants and loans. So, what does this mean for programs like Meals on Wheels, Upward Bound, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Rental Assistance, and other GECAC services that help lift people out of poverty and allow older adults to remain active and safe? As of now, all of our programs are fully funded and continue to meet the essential needs of our community. We will continue to advocate for you and the continued funding of our vital services!
