HomePlus Caseworker

Applications are being accepted for a full-time Caseworker position for the HomePlus Program in the Area Agency on Aging at GECAC. Provide direct services to Erie Housing Authority apartment clients to assist in the identification and resolution of problem areas in maintaining independence. Facilitates the use of community resources and services. Establish and periodically reassess care plans making modifications as needed. This position will work Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Caseworker, Adult Protective Services

Protective Services Caseworkers' duties may include: taking reports for crisis intervention; providing direct services to clients who are at risk or in an emergency; periodically reassessing care plans; providing general counseling; and making referrals. Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other behavioral sciences; and 1-2 years of aging casework experience, with crisis services or law enforcement experience preferred. Experience in the investigation and resolution of problems in a crisis.
