Money Works For You In Erie County

GECAC has received CSBG-ARRA funding to continue the Money Works for You in Erie County. Because of the strict regulations and reporting requirements attached to these Recovery Act funds, GECAC is seeking to partner with organizations that have a strong organizational capacity to accomplish the goals and objectives addressed through this RFP in a short timeframe. The purpose is to identify and work with families for (1) improved financial literacy and (2) tangible asset building goal setting and accomplishment.

Agencies are invited to submit proposals for funding through the Money Works for You program through the Community Services Block Grant – American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (CSBG-ARRA). Please review the entire application and prepare a typed response addressing all of the guidelines listed in this RFP. Questions regarding the RFP will be accepted in writing via email to Stephanie Long, slong@gecac.org, through the end of business December 21^st. Responses will be shared with all applicants via the GECAC website, www.gecac.org.

Print and deliver five copies of your completed proposal and attachments to Greater Erie Community Action Committee (GECAC), 18 West 9^th Street, Erie, PA 16501 by 4:00 pm on January 4, 2010.  Any proposals received after that date and time will not be considered.
